H.Young Structures Ltd facilities include estimating, design, detailing, fabrication, surface finishing, and erection.

Facilities: Erection

Site erection is conducted by skilled erectors holding the necessary CSCS cards, using certified cranes, mobile elevated work platforms, and plant.

Before construction begins, a detailed, project-specific method statement and a crane and lifting plan are prepared to align with the structure and construction sequence, in compliance with our Health & Safety Policy and Health and Safety Executive requirements.

All tasks involving foreseeable hazards undergo a risk assessment by a qualified member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).

All personnel visiting sites hold the appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards.

All personnel attend site inductions, and work areas are securely cordoned off before erection begins.

Deliveries to site are scheduled to align with the erection sequence and programme.

Site progress is closely monitored by our SSSTS/SMSTS Supervisors, Contracts Engineers, and Management team.

Upon completion of erection, the structure is lined and levelled before handover to the client.
