Facilities: Detailing

Our in-house Drawing Office prepares fabrication details using Tekla 3D software, based on fully dimensioned layout drawings provided either by a Consulting Engineer or by our own design team for Design & Build projects.

Once the details are completed, we send the drawings to the client for approval before beginning fabrication.

For Design & Build projects, we conduct pre-engineering using fully dimensioned architectural drawings before detailing begins.

For projects designed by a Consulting Engineer, the required level of pre-engineering is determined at the tender stage.

The 3D detailing system automatically generates general arrangement drawings, assembly and production drawings, cutting lists, bolt lists, and delivery schedules.

Our fully networked office allows seamless electronic transfer of information to the Buying Office and our CAD/CNC plant for efficient fabrication.

Using Tekla detailing software, which is fully compatible with all current BIM software, H Young Structures is certified to BIM Level 2. This enables us to create steelwork frame models that integrate with clients' BIM models.

For connections to existing buildings, we conduct an on-site survey to verify levels and dimensions, ensuring fabrication and site work align accurately.
