Services: Fabrication

Fabrication follows our documented Quality Assurance procedures and complies with ISO 9001 standards.

All structural steelwork is fabricated to meet the Engineer’s specifications and/or the BCSA National Structural Steelwork Specification for Building Construction (NSSS).

Our welders are certified to BS EN ISO 9606-1 standards, and all welding procedures meet BS EN ISO 15609-1 qualifications.

Weld testing is conducted by an independent testing company to ensure quality.

Environmental management in our fabrication facilities is audited under our ISO 14001 certification.

Occupational health and safety in the workshop is maintained according to ISO 45001 standards.

Our in-house fabrication workshops are equipped with automated CNC drilling, sawing, and fittings machinery, directly linked to the detailing system in our Drawing Office for seamless information transfer.

In-house blast-cleaning and painting facilities complement our fabrication process, which operates on a 'just-in-time' basis to align with the on-site installation sequence and modern 'Fast-Track' construction methods.

Our workshop features a certified Factory Production Control (FPC) system, enabling us to apply the UKCA mark on fabricated steelwork from Execution Class 1 (EXC1), which has the least stringent requirements, to Execution Class 4 (EXC4), with the highest standards.
